Designed for Estheticians and Clinicians for treatment in the reduction of Atrophic and Pock marks on the Face due to Acneic Skin Conditions.
TCA Cross Method of Scar Reduction is become quickly popular among clients who suffer from Stages III-V post acneic scarring resulting in boxcar, deep pock, Atrophic pock and facial pitting.
As TCA Peels are becoming popular for facial peels, there has always been a HUGE factor in getting good results for those who suffer from post acneic scarring. The scar tissue and the facial tissue consist of TWO VERY epidermis’ layers and do NOT respond the same when ONE percentage/ dose of TCA is applied.
It has LONG BEEN known that scar reduction would take MANY MANY applications to see a significant reduction, but the areas of the face that did NOT have scarring could not take continued doses of TCA, nor did they NEED that many doses. Truth is, the risk of harming good tissue is a risk that many people did NOT want to take.
NOW there is a PAINLESS method in addressing JUST THE SCARS using a safe dose of TCA Cross solution. Spill proof and goof proof. The bottle dispenses only what you need to saturate your applicator and apply the solution as directed!
FINALLY, you don’t have to walk around with your face peeling! These pinpoint applications go UNDETECTED!! In a few days, a small disc of skin peels off safely, and your FIRST TCA Cross treatment is DONE with a noticeable improvement.
Many of my clients resort to this method to remove facial marks and small facial lines etc.
One method of getting an exact concentration of the TCA into the center of the scar is using highly absorbent applicators that dispense the smallest dose of the Cross solution into the center of the scar, and then quickly neutralizing the area.
Acne Scars – Icepick
Ice pick scars are narrow, sharp scars that make the skin appear it has been punctured with an ice pick. They are usually narrower than 2 mm and extend into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer. Ice pick scars are usually too deep to correct with skin resurfacing treatments such as dermabrasion or laser resurfacing.
Acne Scars – Boxcar
Boxcar scars are round to oval depressions that have sharp vertical edges. Unlike ice pick scars they do not taper to a point at the base. Shallow boxcar scars are 0.1-0.5 mm in depth and can usually be treated with conventional skin resurfacing techniques. Deep boxcar scars are >0.5 mm in depth and require full-thickness treatment techniques.
Acne Scars – Rolling
Rolling scars occur as a result of tethering of otherwise normal-appearing skin to the subcutaneous tissue below. This process gives the skin a rolling or undulating appearance.
